  • Are the concepts presented in an organized, step by step manner?
  • Is the voice of the accent reduction specialist easy to listen to?
  • Does the accent trainer give examples of the concepts?

2.  Is the content motivating and applicable?

3.  Is the content valuable?

  • Does the content leave you wanting to learn more?

Questions to ask yourself about Delivery

1.  Is the way the accent modification specialist presents the information interesting?

  • If the material is interesting, you will be more likely to enjoy your work with the accent trainer
  • If the accent coach delivers the information in a professional, yet somewhat informal, fun way, then you’re more likely to want to keep working with them

2.  Is the accent trainer authentic?

  • If the accent teacher shares their own experiences and personality with you, you’re more likely to trust them
  • If the accent coach is confident enough in their skills, they are comfortable making some mistakes now and then.  Most people are willing to offer and share more if they feel like they are communicating with someone who they can relate to.
